Hawley R2 Barrel (LIMITED EDITION)

Another collaboration between Richie Hawley and Brian Corbin, the R2 clarinet barrel is an exotic twist on the popular R1 barrel. Crafted from naturally aged mopane wood, the R2 barrel uses the same hard rubber bore and inverted taper as the R1 barrel but combines our original Corbin Traditional barrel shape with premium aged and unstained mopane wood. Compared to the R1, the R2 is characterized by a smoother, sweeter tone that is rich with color. There may be a slight reduction in resistance on the R2, but the same focus and intonation improvements are present on the R2 due to the unique hard rubber bore.
